Schoolixa provides a connected school ERP, parent-facing access, communication tools, school operations workflows, and configured AI draft-assistance features.

• Schoolixa is developed and maintained by Maketech Digital
• Schoolixa supports school management, academic, fee, attendance, communication, parent, staff, reporting, and configuration workflows
• Schoolixa does not replace school authority over official records, decisions, approvals, or publication

Account Authority

• Users must provide accurate information
• Users must maintain credential confidentiality
• Users must use only accounts they are authorized to access
• Users acting for a school must have appropriate school authority
• Students, where supported, use Schoolixa subject to school authorization and applicable supervision requirements

School, Staff, Parent, And Student Roles

• School administrators configure authorized access for their school
• Staff access depends on assigned roles and permissions
• Parent access depends on school-authorized records and selected child context
• Students, where supported, receive only configured access
• Schoolixa provides the platform but does not make academic, attendance, fee, promotion, disciplinary, or school-management decisions for the school

Current Pricing Position

Schoolixa currently presents its school software offering at ₹0 software cost for schools, subject to onboarding review and the scope shown on the current Pricing page.

• These Terms do not introduce paid tiers, parent charges, setup fees, SMS fees, payment commissions, implementation fees, refund policies, or premium plans
• Any future commercial terms require confirmed business approval and should be documented before being stated publicly

Acceptable Use

• No unauthorized access or attempts to bypass permissions
• No credential sharing or misuse of another account
• No harmful, unlawful, abusive, or misleading material
• No misuse of student, staff, parent, school, financial, or operational information
• No submission of unnecessary secrets or sensitive information to support or AI fields
• No use of AI output without required human review

School And User Content

• Schools and users retain their rights in information they submit
• Schoolixa receives the limited permission required to host, process, transmit, back up, and present information to provide the service
• Ownership and control of official school records remain subject to school authority and applicable requirements
• AI-generated drafts remain subject to human review and any applicable rights or restrictions

AI-Assisted Features

• AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate
• AI output is a draft or advisory result
• Authorized users must review AI-assisted output before use
• AI must not be relied on as the sole basis for official school decisions
• AI does not directly publish or modify protected official records through the configured draft workflow
• Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information to AI features

Intellectual Property

Schoolixa retains rights in its software, interface, documentation, and platform materials.

Service Availability

Schoolixa aims to provide reliable service, but availability can be affected by maintenance, infrastructure, third-party providers, security events, or issues outside the platform's control. These Terms do not create a formal service-level agreement.

Suspension And Termination

• Access may be restricted for misuse, security risk, unlawful use, or material breach
• School-controlled users may lose access when the relevant school relationship ends
• Termination or suspension may affect parent, staff, and student access connected to the school
• Data export, retention, and deletion remain subject to the applicable school relationship, operational requirements, and approved processes

Support Boundaries

• Support requests should not include passwords, OTPs, raw access tokens, private keys, payment secrets, or unnecessary student-sensitive information
• Support may help with usage, configuration, and issue reporting
• Schools remain responsible for official record decisions, approvals, publication, and access control

Liability And Records

Users and schools should maintain appropriate records and review important outputs before use. Specific liability terms, statutory rights, exclusions, and remedies require legal-owner review and are not expanded here without confirmed legal direction.

• Important changes may be communicated when appropriate
• Governing law, venue, arbitration, indemnity, and other jurisdiction-specific terms remain owner and counsel decisions
